Service Terms for Turf Medic Ontario
These terms outline how we deliver commercial lawn care, landscaping, and snow services across Brantford and the surrounding Grand Erie region.
1. Scope of Services
Turf Medic Ontario (“Turf Medic,” “we,” “our,”) provides commercial property maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, and snow services as defined in your approved proposal or master service agreement. Each site plan details seasonal expectations, frequency, materials, and equipment to be supplied.
2. Client Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to all service areas, including gates, parking, and service corridors.
- Communicate site hazards, construction activity, or schedule changes within a reasonable timeframe.
- Designate a primary contact for approvals, feedback, and emergency communication.
3. Scheduling & Weather
Maintenance visits are scheduled based on seasonal calendars and may shift due to inclement weather or unforeseen events. Snow removal services follow Environment Canada alerts and our internal dispatch protocols to ensure timely response.
4. Materials & Sustainability
We source premium turf products, mulch, and aggregates from trusted vendors. If alternative specifications are required, the client must provide written approval. Turf Medic disposes of debris in accordance with municipal and provincial regulations.
5. Billing & Payment
Invoices are issued per the agreed billing schedule (monthly, seasonal, or per event). Payments are due within 30 days unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur interest charges. Snow contracts may include retainer fees for guaranteed coverage.
6. Change Orders
Requests for additional services, landscape enhancements, or emergency call-outs must be confirmed in writing. Turf Medic will provide pricing and availability before commencing extra work.
7. Liability & Insurance
Turf Medic maintains commercial general liability and WSIB coverage for all employees and subcontractors. Clients are encouraged to maintain property insurance. Our liability is limited to direct damages up to the value of the current contract year.
8. Health & Safety
Our crews follow Ontario health and safety regulations, including traffic control, PPE, equipment inspections, and snow operation guidelines. Clients must alert Turf Medic to any on-site safety protocols or restricted areas.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Completed services and committed materials to date will be invoiced. Immediate termination applies in the event of breach, non-payment, or unsafe working conditions.
10. Force Majeure
Turf Medic is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labour disputes, or government directives.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
